NY1's New Yorker of the Week
Price: $4200 (Flat Rate)
So you’re looking for a professional standup comedian in New York City? However you found me, I’m glad you did! And I am assuming you want to know a little more about exactly how weird I am…
The good news is, I’m not that different from most New Yorkers (take that however you want). I lead an insanely busy life, thanks in part to being a husband, father, and – of course – a standup comedian.
I perform at all kinds of comedy shows, mostly in the New York City area, but I’ve been known to hop a train or two. I am one of New York’s “clean comedians” and that means that, whether your event is a temple show, a fundraiser, a corporate event, or any type of private party, you know the “funny” won’t be marred by “foul”.
My Mom thinks I’m the world’s best comedian (or, at least, in the Tri-State Area… OK, in the whole of New York). And I agree. But if you’d like to see first-hand proof that I’m awesome, check out my videos. (If you’d prefer to take someone else’s word for it (besides my mom), check out my Applause!
But wait – there’s more! I also have a gorgeous wife, two adorable kids, and an incontinent cockapoo at home. Speaking of which, does anyone in New York City need a gently used rug from a really funny stand-up comedian??
(When I’m not slinging comedy, I also work as a non-union actor, a writer, and I run my own non-profit, Stewie to the Rescue, a New York animal rescue foundation.)
X Factor Finalist and Broadway Veteran
Rachel Potter w/ Steel Union

She recorded and released her debut EP, "Live The Dream," in 2012 which showcased her pop country sound, and songwriting. Just a year later, she left behind the "Great White Way" to find her place among the neon lights of Music City.
Potter went on to become a Top 12 finalist on season three of The X Factor, earning international praise for her rendition of Queen's Somebody to Love. Her take on the classic tune, which has now reached over 26 million views on YouTube, is featured on her new album, Not So Black and White.

O Sole Trio
Price: $7700 (Flat Rate)
Note: They will need a baby grand piano so if the venue has one, the price lowers to $7200
O Sole Trio is a vibrant musical ensemble featuring the lush voices of soprano Erin Shields, baritone Giuseppe Spoletini along with the versatile and virtuosic David Shenton on piano and violin. Their performance credits include a sold-out show at Carnegie Hall in 2014, a concert at The Redlands Bowl in CA before an audience of 5,000 people, a performance on Fox 5’s Good Day New York with Rosanna Scotto and Dave Price, as well as a standing room only engagement at Lincoln Center’s David Rubenstein Atrium.

What's Going On
Brian Owens "Marvin Gaye Experience"
Price: $8000 (Flat Rate)
As one of the pioneers of Motown, singer-songwriter and producer Marvin Gaye helped shape the sound of R&B music and is considered one of the greatest artists of all time.
Soul man Brian Owens is often referred to as the "second coming of Marvin Gaye.” Owens, who has performed at the White House for First Lady Michelle Obama, dazzles audiences with performances that are full of soul and love well beyond his peers of today. His refined style combining classic soul with a slight modern touch is why audiences everywhere are calling him the new voice of American soul. Brian also recently opened for Michael MacDonald in St. Louis.
What’s Going On: The Marvin Gaye Experience is Brian’s tribute to the legendary artist and includes music selections that span Gaye’s music-making career. Early solo hits like “Can I Get a Witness” and “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” share space with “You’re All I Need to Get By” and other classic duets. And any Marvin Gaye song list would be incomplete without perennial (and challenging) crowd-pleasers like “Let’s Get It On” or “Got To Give It Up.”
At its heart, Brian’s Marvin Gaye Experience is about “preservation -- upholding the tradition of true soul music that is so desperately needed in our culture today.” The show prominently features a suite of pieces from Gaye’s “What’s Going On” album, counted as “one of the most socially important artistic works in the history of American music.” In light of recent events in and around Ferguson Missouri where he resides, Brian says the show also speaks to a heightened sense of urgency and the prophetic beauty of Gaye’s 1971 work.
Price: $7500 (Flat Rate)
Shotgun Wedding is a Brooklyn-based band blazing their own trail with a new music genre, "City-Country". Their songs and music reflect life in NYC - steeped in Bakersfield country, rock-n-roll, with a dash of swing. Trade your front porch for a fire escape, your trusty steed for the 7 train, Ol' Yeller for a yellow cab and well...you get the picture. Raw, honest and from the heart, Shotgun Wedding takes a unique approach to a time-honored genre: re-imagining songs by Merle Haggard, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, George Jones and Ernest Tubb…while also firing off original songs that are at once down-home and downtown, including tunes about bartenders, broken hearts – even a Brooklyn Rag.
The band features veteran musicians and vocalists who – to this day – still tour with Billy Joel. Members of the band include: Chuck Burgi (Billy Joel, Enrique Iglesias, Hall & Oates), Andy Cichon (Billy Joel, Shania Twain), Dennis Del Gaudio (Billy Joel, Movin’ Out Band), Wade Preston (Billy Joel, Movin’ Out), and Catherine Porter (Brian May Band, Sunset Boulevard, Broadway’s Next to Normal). Shotgun Wedding infuses Dennis’ guitar pickin’, Wade’s boogie/stride piano, Catherine’s gorgeous voice with the solid backbone of Andy on bass and Chuck on drums. Dennis, Catherine and Wade all share lead vocal duties then blend together with Andy to create beautiful vocal harmonies.
Shotgun Wedding has been playing casinos and theatres all over the northeast from Maine to Virginia. A country band with a city feel and a Broadway veteran lead female vocalist. An amazing show.
